Manure doesn’t have to be a waste product. With the right filtration system, you can transform manure into a liquid product to pump back through your drip irrigation system. This allows you to repurpose waste and utilize the nutrients still available for your crops fertigation needs.
-Two is Better than One-
The first step of manure management is separating the solids from the liquids. Manure is sent through a solid separator which extrudes it into a dry by-product and a liquid. The liquid from this initial filtration is sent on to the second system, a micro-filter or shaker. Here, the liquid manure is filtered again and is considered clean enough to be sent through the drip irrigation system.
